Are all medians altitudes?

Median and altitude:

A median of a triangle is a line segment that joins a vertex to the mid-point of the side that is opposite to that vertex.

An altitude of a triangle is a line segment that starts from the vertex and meets the opposite side at right angles.

The median of a triangle definitely lies inside the triangle but an altitude does not necessarily lie inside the triangle.

For an obtuse triangle, the altitude of the triangle lies outside the triangle whereas a median lies inside the triangle.

Therefore, all medians are not altitudes.
