Speed of the car$=x\ km/hr$
Archana starts journey from Delhi at 8 am for Jaipur. At 1 pm, she observes that she is 20 km away from Jaipur.
To do:
We have to find the distance between Delhi and Jaipur.
Solution:
We know that,
$Speed=\frac{Distance}{Time}$
From 8 am to 1 pm, the distance travelled in 5 hours$=5\times x\ km=5x\ km$
Distance away from Jaipur at 1 pm$=20\ km$.
Therefore,
The total distance between Delhi and Jaipur$=5x+20\ km$.
