An electric bulb of $60\ W$ is lighted for $10\ hours$ everyday. How many units of electrical energy is consumed by this bulb in one day ?
As given, power of the bulb $P=60\ W$
Time $t=10\ hours$
Therefore, energy consumed by the bulb in a day$=P\times t$
$=60\ W\times 10\ hours$
$=600\ Watt-hour$
$=0.6\times 10^3\ Watt-hour$
$=0.6\ KWh$
Thus, the energy consumed by the electric bulb is $0.6\ KWh$.
