A T.V. Station transmits waves of wave length $200\ m$. Calculate the frequency of waves, if the speed of waves in air is $3.0\times10^{8}\ ms^{-1}$.
As given, wavelength of T.V. transmitted waves $=200\ m$
Speed of the wave in the air $=3.0\times10^{8}\ ms^{-1}$
Therefore, frequency of the transmitted waves$=\frac{speed\ of\ the\ waves}{wavelength\ of\ the\ waves}$
$=\frac{3.0\times10^{8}\ ms^{-1}}{200\ m}$
$=1.5\times10^6\ m$
