A drawing is erased by an eraser, and the changed induced in the eraser was a permanent change, but if we drop an eraser on a clean flat surface we can get back the clean eraser. So, why the change induced in the eraser is a permanent change?
When we use an eraser for erasing the drawing, the eraser gets reduced in size or shape, and we can't get the whole eraser back by any means.
When we drop an eraser on a clean flat surface we can get back the eraser, as it bounces but it can't be called a permanent change because nothing is changed chemically or physically, except the location of the eraser.
Hence, eraser used for erasing the drawing is a permanent change.
