A concave mirror produces three times magnified image of an object placed at 10 cm in front of it. Where is the image located?

Here distance of the object from the mirror $u=-10\ cm$   [because object is considered to be placed on the left. therefore $u$ is -ve signed ]

As known, $m=-\frac{v}{u}$

Or $v=-3m$

Or $v=-3\times(-10\ cm)$

Or $v=30\ cm$

Therefore, the image is located at the $30\ cm$ distance from the mirror.
