A car travels 80km in 2.5 hours. How much distance will it cover in 6 hours?
Given: A car travels 80km in 2.5 hours.
To do: Find the distance it will cover in 6hrs.
Solution:
Speed of car = $\frac{Distance}{time}$
A Car Travels 80km In 2.5 Hours
So, the speed of car = $\frac{80}{ 2.5}$
= $32$
So, the speed of car = 32 km/hr
Which means a car can travel 32 kms in 1 hr.
Distance travelled by car in 1 hr = 32 km
Distance traveled by car in 6 hr = 32 $\times$ 6 = 192 km
