A car is being driven by a force of $2.5\times10^{10}\ N$. Traveling at a constant speed of $5\ m/s$, it takes $2\ minutes$ to reach a certain place. Calculate the work done.
Force acted on the car $F=2.5\times10^{10}\ N$
Speed of the car $s=5\ m/s$
Time taken to reach $=2\ minute=2\times60=120\ s$
Therefore, distance traveled $d=speed\times time$
$=5\ m/s\times120\ s$
$=600\ m$
Therefore, work done $W=F\times d$
$=2.5\times10^{10}\ N\times600\ m$
$=1.5\times10^{13}\ Joule$
Therefore, the work done by the car to reach a certain place is $1.5\times10^{13}\ Joule$.
