Given, a boy goes to the shop and come back. We know that distance is the total length traveled.
Therefore total distance is 5 + 5 =10km.
We know that displacement is the difference between the final location and the initial location.
Since the boy reached the same point after going to shop, his final and initial locations are the same.
Hence the displacement is 0 .
