A body starts moving from rest and its velocity becomes $15\ m/s$ in $1\ minute$. Find the acceleration of the body.
Here as given initial velocity $u=0$
Final velocity $v=15\ m/s$
Time $t=1\ minute=60\ seconds$
Therefore, the acceleration $a=\frac{v-u}{t}$
$=\frac{15-0}{60}$
$=\frac{15}{60}$
$=0.25\ m/s^2$
Therefore, the acceleration is $0.25\ m/s^2$.
