A body of $1\ kg$ travels a distance of 24 meters in 3.10 seconds. Assuming its speed was constant, Find its kinetic energy.
Here given, mass of the body $m=1\ kg.$
Distance travelled $s=24\ m$
Time $t=3.10\ seconds$
Therefore, velocity of the body $v=\frac{distance(s)}{time(t)}$
$=\frac{24\ m}{3.10\ seconds}$
$=7.75\ m/s$
Therefore, kinetic energy $K=\frac{1}{2}mv^2$
$=\frac{1}{2}\times1\times7.75^2$
$=30.03\ Joule$
Therefore, kinetic energy of the body is $30.03\ Joule$.
