Description

The java.time.OffsetTime.minus(TemporalAmount amountToSubtract) method returns a copy of this time with the specified amount subtracted.

public OffsetTime minus(TemporalAmount amountToSubtract)

Parameters

amountToSubtract − the amount to subtract, not null.

Return Value

a OffsetTime based on this time with the subtraction made, not null.

Exceptions

  • DateTimeException − if the subtraction cannot be made.

  • ArithmeticException − if numeric overflow occurs.
