HTML DOM Style maxHeight Property


The DOM style maxHeight property returns and modify the maximum height of an element in an HTML document.

Syntax

Following is the syntax −

  • Returning maxHeight

object.style.maxHeight
  • Modifying maxHeight

object.style.maxHeight = “value”

Values

Here, value can be −

ValueExplanation
NoneIt sets no limit on the height of the element.
inheritIt inherits this property value from its parent element.
initialIt set this property value to its default value.
lengthIt sets the value in terms of length units.
percentage(%)It sets the value in terms of percentage height of parent element.
