How to install PrivaZer for Windows?

In this tutorial, we will learn how to install PrivaZer for Windows. Before beginning with the installation, let us first understand what is PrivaZer.

The PrivaZer is a free PC Cleaner and Privacy Tool. The following are the characteristics of PrivaZer −

• Visualization of residual traces of old files remaining in free space

• Smart cleanup of free space.

• Cleanup of residual traces in free space areas needing a reset to zero

• Cleanup of your Jumplists without deleting your pinned items/ websites which are preserved

• Cleanup of residual traces in file tables, not only in FAT/MFT

• Additional cleanup of INDEX attributes in MFT

• Removing of invalid Prefetch entries. Old valid entries are preserved.

• Deletion of remaining traces of disconnected device (name, date, etc)

• ull scan of the drive to retrieve remaining thumbs.db files and show their content Scan of remaining traces of deleted files still indexed by Windows.

Let us now see how to install PrivaZer on Windows −

Step 1

To install the PrivaZer on Windows, go to a web browser and open the official website https://privazer.com/en/ as shown in the below screenshot −

Step 2

Go below and the Download button will be visible. Click on it −

After clicking Download above, a new page opens wherein all the versions for PrivaZer is visible. Click Download −

The download begins and completes as shown below −

Step 3

On double-clicking the exe file, the section appears for installing PrivaZer. First, select the language. We have set the default language to English −

Also, select the Install option and directly move towards installing PrivaZer on Windows.

After selecting the Install button, click Install as shown below.

Step 4

The Terms and Conditions are now visible. Read and select I agree. After that, click Next −

Step 5

The next section displays the Installation Directory wherein the PrivaZer will get installed. We will keep the default location i.e. −

C:\Program Files (x86)\PrivaZer

If you want to change the location, click Browse. After that, click Install −

The installation begins −

Step 6

The installation completes successfully. Click Ok −

On clicking Ok above, the Privazer shortcut is visible and it opens up −

To scan the system in-depth with Privazer, select Scan in-depth to scan the system −
