ftp_systype() function in PHP


The ftp_systype() function returns the system type identifier of the FTP server.

Syntax

ftp_systype(con);

Parameters

  • con − The FTP connection

Return

The ftp_systype() function returns the system type on success, or FALSE on failure.

   $ftp_user = "jacob";
   $ftp_pass = "tywg61gh";
   $conn = ftp_ssl_connect($ftp_server) or die("Could not connect to $ftp_server");
