Solution:
(a) We know that,
The ratio of 81 to 108 can be obtained by dividing 81 by 108
$=\frac{81}{108}$
$= \frac{3}{4}$
$=3:4$
The ratio of 81 to 108 is $3:4$.
(b) We know that,
The ratio of 98 to 63 can be obtained by dividing 98 by 63
$=\frac{98}{63}$
$= \frac{14}{9}$
$=14:9$
The ratio of 81 to 108 is $14:9$.
(c) We know that,
The ratio of $33\ km$ to $121\ km$ can be obtained by dividing$33\ km$ by $121\ km$
$=\frac{33\ km}{121\ km}$
$= \frac{3}{11}$
$=3:11$
The ratio of $33\ km$ to $121\ km$ is $3:11$.
(d) We know that,
The ratio of 30 minutes to 45minutes can be obtained by dividing 30 minutes by 45 minutes
$=\frac{30\min}{45\min}$
$= \frac{2}{3}$
$=2:3$
The ratio of 30 minutes to 45 minutes is $2:3$.
