C++ Locale Library - isupper



Description

It checks if character is uppercase letter and other locales may consider a different selection of characters as uppercase characters, but never characters that returns true for iscntrl, isdigit, ispunct or isspace..

Declaration

Following is the declaration for std::isupper.

int isupper ( int c );

C++11

int isupper ( int c );

Parameters

c − Character to be checked, casted to an int, or EOF.

Return Value

It returns a value different from zero.

Exceptions

No-throw guarantee − this function never throws exceptions.
