To customize a perspective, right click on Perspective name → CustomizeWhen you click on Customize, it opens a new window which can be used for customization of a Perspective.

In SAP HANA Studio, you have multiple perspectives to perform different functions. When you go to Open Perspectives, you can see long list of options. For Index Server Instance No: 03Port # 30315Standard format: 3NN15 These port numbers are used for index server for SQL/MDX access port for standard database access. You should enable the access on these ports for all database clients. By default Index server Port no is 30015.The standard port number format for different instances 3NN15, NN- represents the instance number of HANA system to be used in client tools.Port 3615 should be open to connect to DatabasePort 31015 Instance No 10Port 30015 Instance No 00SSh port should also be opened.

To access HANA system on client tools, you need to open different ports to database for these clients. These ports refer to different servers and application service in HANA system.

You can add multiple local/remote HANA systems in HANA Studio. To add a system, you have to open HANA Studio from Program Files.Once you open HANA Studio, go to system pane on right side → Right click and select Add System. You can also add SAP HANA Cloud system or a new folder in system pane.When you create a folder, it allows you to add HANA system, cloud system or a new folder inside it. On right side you have Modeling Perspectives, under which you can see multiple options inside it. When you login to SAP HANA Studio first time, it doesn’t have any system added to it. You can also install SAP HANA Studio from SAP Market place with a valid user license. You need to have SAP Partner ID (SID) and password to login to SAP Market place. This is paid version and you should have a license for SAP HANA Studio. You can also install all the patches and upgrades related to SAP HANA from Marketplace.Go to http://support.sap.com and navigate to Software Downloads.
